Our Story
Midwest Machinery Co. got its start in the John Deere business with the purchase of a single store in Glenwood, Minnesota, called Glenwood Equipment. Over the course of the 1990s and early 2000s, Glenwood Equipment acquired locations in Sauk Centre, Alexandria, Paynesville, Glencoe, Stewart, and Sauk Rapids, forming Minnesota Ag Power, Inc. In 2008 Minnesota Ag Power acquired 4 more locations and rebranded to Midwest Machinery, Co. By 2018, Midwest Machinery purchased dealerships in Princeton, Little Falls, Wadena, Baxter, Aitkin, Morris, Madison, Elbow Lake, and Benson, bringing the overall locations to 17. In 2022, Midwest Machinery purchased SEMA Equipment and Frontier Ag and Turf, raising the total location count to 30.

The most important thing in my job is building relationships in the community, with coworkers, and with customers. Midwest Machinery gives me the tools and freedom to support the people around us knowing the importance of a strong community and giving back to the people that support our business."
Location Manager
The best thing about a career here is having the opportunity for growth and the chance to develop as a professional. I started out as a marketing intern and was offered a sales position out of college. After four years of being in sales, I was fortunate enough to move into my current role as Digital Marketing Manager.

I love that we are constantly pushing each other to be better - our success depends on each other.

I love getting to meet new people every single day while helping them with their equipment. Every single day looks different and love it!

- I value the culture that we have throughout the company the most. I started with MMC when we were 13 stores, and that same small company feel never changed as we grew larger. Everyone likes to have fun while still providing the best customer service to our customers.
